Project Management

Landscape Group’s expertise spans the whole project management process from project definition and scope, detailed landscape planning and design, procurement, works and scope management, onsite supervision, project layout, crew supervision, quality control and cost oversight.

By working closely with our clients to understand the desired outcomes, and applying our technical knowledge and project management processes,landscape group can consistently facilitate a successful project from start to finish.

Plant sourcing & contract growing

Landscape group offers a plant broking service for landscape companies, property developers or DIY clients that have a landscape design and a plant list and require procurement of the plants. Our mission is to provide the best quality plants hand-in-hand with the best customer service, offering a combination of convenience, price, and selection that can’t be beat.

Landscape Group has relationships with suppliers and growers across New Zealand and can offer competitive prices and discounted rates due to bulk purchases and quantity awarded discounts. Plant sourcing is a time-consuming exercise and can be simplified by sending us a list and receiving a quotation, including freight to your property.

Contract grown stock allows the client the opportunity to pre-order stock for long term projects. This is ideal for large renovations, new builds or projects that require installation within 1-3 years from design approval. Trees can be shaped and trained into the desired finished product to suit your outdoor spaces. These include but are not limited to espaliers, pleached hedges, standards or simply trees with exact measurements and proportions. Hedges can be pre-grown and pruned as required and be delivered to site as instant hedges and screens. Shrubs, climbers and groundcovers can enjoy the same special treatment and arrive on site established and well maintained.

Specimen trees and palms form the backbone and features plants of the landscape and Landscape Group has access to mature specimens ranging from 3 meters to 15 meters in height with trees as old as 80 years. The supply of specimen trees and palms includes freight and crane installation if required. The supervision and planting service of specimen trees is also available on request as we understand that special trees need qualified attention and care.

Landscape Group will handle the entire process from the initial specie and grade selection, to reference photographs of actual stock and freight coordination for your project. Contract stock management and the quality control of plants forms the core of our business.
